Détours. Revue en didactique des langues et des cultures is a multidisciplinary and international publication focusing on issues in language and culture teaching. Based on a theme and a selection of texts submitted in response to a call for papers or chosen by the editors, each issue consists of articles that address the theme, emphasising diversity of approaches and disciplinary fields. The study of situations of contact between languages, teacher/trainer training and openness to the social field are at the heart of the journal's concerns.
Détours is aimed at researchers, academics and students interested in language and culture teaching, as well as practitioners in the field and future players in the language and culture teaching sector. The journal aims to become an international scientific news and working tool for anyone interested in teaching and learning in language and culture teaching.
Published once a year and freely accessible, Détours is a resource for those involved in learning, teaching and lifelong learning. It features articles on work that sheds light on lifelong learning issues from different perspectives. As such, it is a multidisciplinary journal. Each issue therefore features articles that emphasise the diversity of approaches and disciplinary fields related to lifelong learning.
